Formed in 2011, He Was Eaten By Owls blend the anarchic precision of Math-Rock with the heavily composed and polyphonic sensibilities of Chamber Music and Post- Minimalism. The guitar and drum duo are currently in the process of recording their first LP, entitled 'Chorus 30 From Blues For The Hitchiking Dead', in which they expand their sound to more densely layered altitudes with the inclusion of horns, strings and piano, as well as field recordings and borrowed sounds.
